This private journey follows Iceland’s Golden Circle route at a calmer and more balanced pace, combining geological landmarks, geothermal bathing, and the countryside of South Iceland.

Travel east from Reykjavík toward Þingvellir National Park, where the shifting tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia are visible in the open rift valley landscape. The area also holds an important place in Iceland’s history and cultural identity.

From Þingvellir, continue through the countryside toward Laugarás Lagoon, a geothermal bathing destination set along the river in South Iceland. The included Ösp experience combines geothermal bathing with lunch served on site, allowing time to relax and settle naturally into the rhythm of the day.

In the afternoon, the journey continues deeper into the Golden Circle region. Visit the Geysir geothermal area, where Strokkur erupts regularly from the earth, before continuing to Gullfoss waterfall, where glacial water flows through a dramatic canyon shaped over thousands of years.

The day concludes with a relaxed return to Reykjavík in the early evening.
